I only half-way listened to the video. I did not listen to it a second time. But I don't recall hearing the the first conditional test would check if the value is checked against the mod of both values. Come to think of it, I don't recall him initializing the variable that is iterated as we progress through the loop either. Then again, I have already spent too much time here and need to get back to work.

The conditional checks on the loop iterator append to your "result" variable, but your final conditional tests it for nullity. In most languages string appending to a null is an error. If instead result was being initialized as an empty string, then your final conditional must test for that rather than nullity.

On the first two conditional checks he tries to append a string to an Null variable, it could be an error depending on the language. Also I don't remember him printing "result" at anytime, at the end he said he would format it or store it on an array for future use.

The bug is the interviewer should have gotten up and walked out of the interview the moment the CTO tried to justify not having a whiteboard in his office.

He never describes separating the output tokens with some sort of delimiter such as space or carriage return/line feed. Thus, it would be impossible to distinguish between a number that was divisible by 3 but not 5 followed by a number that was divisible by 5 but not 3 from a number that was divisible by 3 AND 5. The output is essentially garbage as a result of this.

Speaking to the wrong audience. I once had an executive-level director of a major financial institution ask me a programming question in an interview, while interviewing for a line-management position, and our conversation lasted 30 minutes by shifting the topic to what I knew about banking at the time. Put people in their comfort zone, and then talk to them confidently about that. Not knowing that one thing will make you seem narrow and unemployable.
